New Member, Sue Summers, entering into the spirit of the evening with her lovely Suffragist outfit.

Our centenary celebrations got off to a great start at the March meeting with Lucy and Merry from ‘The History Wardrobe’ taking us down memory lane.  They presented a lovely show of vintage clothing and accessories and told some interesting and funny tales about the history of fashion and how members dressed for the WI in years gone by.

Well done to everyone involved in the organisation of this super event, and  once again many thanks Terry Collinson for these lovely photos.

Members’ Night 2018

Members’ Night was a huge success – many thanks to Celia for organising the event and to our workshop leaders, Caroline, Judy H, Jean, Anne H, Judith W and Ethel.  Pam also gave an interesting and informative presentation before the vote on the Resolutions for 2018 – an important aspect of WI life – and Ethel, Ann and Sue provided a well earned supper.  A lovely ‘homespun’ evening!   (Not forgetting our photographer, Terry, for these lovely photos and Bill Bourne for helping with the heavy work in clearing up – much appreciated.)

Cheers – just the one with Judy Hill
